Genre-bending artist PawPaw Rod presents his highly anticipated EP, 'Doobie Mouth (An EP From PawPaw Rod). Born in Hawaii, and raised in Oklahoma City, PawPaw Rod (Rodney Hulsey) is an LA-based singer-songwriter known for his fusion of rap, soul, and funk.

Combining ‘60s soul, with hip-hop, sunny melodies, and sophisticated lyricism PawPaw Rod carries Motown’s legacy into contemporary music. The 7-track EP follows PawPaw Rod through an exploration of love and self-growth (alongside a fat loud pack). Upon first listen, it’s evident that Doobie Mouth represents an era of distinct sonic expansion; guiding the listener along a journey through previously uncharted territories of R&B and pop, while remaining grounded in the funk roots that comprise the signature sound he’s become known for.
